The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is a public entity designed to drive sustainable growth, reform and improvement within South Africa’s construction sector. As part of this initiative, the CIDB also assigns contractors grading levels from 1 to 9 in order to determine the maximum value of work for which they can tender.
